Early on in his life, he played Australian football for Sydney FC and Bankstown City, helping win both Johnny Warren Cup and NSW State Premier League championships with them. Additionally he represented Parramatta-Melita Eagles, Blacktown City Demons and various New South Wales State squads before appearing in multiple television shows.
