Early Life and Education
Adam Brent was born and raised in New York City. He earned both a bachelor’s degree from Maryland Institute College of Art as well as an MFA in sculpture from Parsons The New School for Design. Additionally, Adam has received numerous awards and honors including one from The Greater New York Arts Development Fund administered by Brooklyn Arts Council.
His works have been shown in many notable institutions and galleries such as The Islip Art Museum, Bronx Museum for Contemporary Art, Aldrich Museum For Contemporary Art Wave Hill Mattatuck Museum BRIC Rotunda as well as receiving critical acclaim in The Village Voice L Magazine and New York Times. Furthermore, he currently is a principle-founding member of BroLab Collective.
Professional Career
Brent has assisted many different clients to protect and maximize the value of their data. He has overseen compliance engagements related to both CCPA and GDPR regulations, providing advice in areas including compliance operations; policies and procedures; contracting; record keeping; risk management and data mapping, classification handling protection.
He has provided guidance to companies on the steps needed to comply with HIPAA, such as data mapping, classification, handling; minimum security controls and administrative safeguards.
