After suffering injuries in a Vietnam rice paddy attack that left his right arm covered with shrapnel, Trevino decided to dedicate his art towards honoring both his family and cultural heritage. He created La Historia Chicana: one hundred-foot long mural which explores six centuries of Mexican American heritage; it now hangs at Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio’s Sueltenfuss Library.
Adam loved his family, friends and dogs and was always looking for ways to assist others. He enjoyed watching funny movies, playing video games and four-wheelers, spending time with family members as well as watching comedies.
