Ant Walker – A Fitting Tribute

There is no doubt that Ant Walker was a good person. However, his passing is nothing to be trifled with. It was a bit of a shock when I heard the news from my wife. The best way to handle it was to put my best foot forward, and that is what I did. Not surprisingly, Ant’s passing was a blow to everyone in his orbit, including me. His passing is a loss, and I would be remiss if I didn’t extend my deepest condolences to his family and friends. A fitting tribute to a man who was a gentleman, and who had a knack for the big game.

While Ant did not make it to the playoffs in his final season, the man was a winner on the court. He was the team’s leading scorer in the paints and a top five overall in the conference tournament. As a fan, I was always proud to see Ant on the court, and his playbook was one of the best in the conference. To this day, I am proud of the way he carried himself and played the game.

One of the best things about Ant is his uncanny ability to make his teammates better. In addition, he exhibited the rare trait of being able to make good decisions, and was a model citizen.
