Bridgit Mendler

Bridgit Mendler is an American actress and singer. She began her career in the animated Indian film The Legend of Buddha. She was a star in Alice Upside Down and The Clique as well as Alvin and the Chipmunks, The Squeakquel, and Labor Pains. While on tour with the band The Fray, she won the Crystal Globe for best supporting actress in 2007.

Mendler’s first major role was in an Indian animated film called The Legend of Buddha, where she portrayed the title character, Lucy. She was also a guest star on the TV show General Hospital, where she played Lulu Spencer’s dream child. Mendler’s character argued against Spencer on Lulu’s birthday. The scene was cut short and Mendler was shocked to learn that her dream character was a nightmare. Mendler also starred as Thorn in Bone: The Great Cow Race.

Mendler has appeared in many films. In addition to her acclaimed role in Good Luck Charlie, she starred in Nashville and the 2015 comedy Merry Happy Whatever. Following her breakout performance in the Disney Channel Original Movie Lemonade Mouth, Mendler released a single called “Somebody” from the soundtrack.
