Chanel Barbie

The latest collaboration between the famous fashion house and Mattel will see a Chanel-styled Barbie doll. The doll will not be a man but will wear the designer’s signature outfit of a tailored black jacket and white shirt with a high collar, skinny black pants, thick tie, dark glasses, and a hat. The two designers have previously collaborated in the past, dressing Barbie in Chanel for Mattel’s 50th anniversary in 2009, and for a special show in Paris’s famous Colette boutique.

Barbie is a timeless fashion icon, having been dressed in Christian Dior, Chanel and Louboutin in every shade of the rainbow. She has captivated scores of little girls and boys around the world. It’s easy to see why: she’s perfect from birth and never needed any treatments. Her unchanging beauty and self-confidence have made her a role model for girls everywhere. Although Barbie may be criticized for wearing the most recent designer labels, her timeless charme and timeless looks have made her a sought-after commodity.

Barbie was first released in 1959, and is the most expensive doll ever produced. It had blonde hair, red lips, and gold hoops. A vintage chanel Barbie can fetch more than $15,000 at an auction today. A vintage Barbie with holes in her feet is worth at least $27,450. However, even then, Barbie dolls aren’t cheap and they don’t last long. Even vintage Barbie dolls from the 1960s can be worth more than $1500
