Chanel Bathing Suit
Rent a Chanel Bathing Suit
For the CHANEL Spring-Summer 2022 Ready-to-Wear collection, designer Virginie Viard reimagined the classic bikini. The ribbed jersey design is accented by a sparkling double C and leather chain belt, as well as two-tone sandals. For the campaign, Viard enlisted actresses Inez and Vinoodh to appear in the bikini and direct the film.
Jenner completed the look with minimal makeup and a mega mane of black waves. The hairstyle was either extensions or a full wig. Jenner modeled her vacation look from Chanel’s 1994 ready-to-wear collection. She said she was inspired by supermodel Naomi Campbell, who wore the Chanel suit for the first time in 1994. This bikini is timeless, but the price can be prohibitive when you consider the other luxury items Jenner wore on the trip.
Chanel swimsuits can be rented for industry professionals for special events, editorial work and commercial filming. Rent the Runway recently reached $1 billion in valuation and announced that it would now rent out high-end clothing for children. Other companies like Ikea and West Elm are also dabbling in the rental business. Renting high-end swimwear is a great investment. Additionally, rental services can help savvy consumers save money while still getting luxury fashion at affordable rates.
The evolution of the swimsuit is complicated. The swimsuit was created in the early 20th century with the advent of sex, freedom of movement and sex for women. Its history is even more fascinating. Early feminists helped to shape the swimsuit. In the 1970s, Coco Chanel was replaced in the early 1970s by Brigitte Barrot. The first two-piece suit was created. The bikini was eventually the standard in bathing attire.
