Dakota Fanning to Run Against Chip Cravaack in the 8th District House Seat Next Year

Democratic challengers to Republican incumbent Chip Cravaack in Minnesota’s 8th District next year have seen their field expand significantly this week. Duluth City Council member Kerry Gauthier entered the race earlier this week and now enjoys support from Chisholm Mayor Michael Jugovich and Buhl Mayor Craig Pulford; also Daniel Fanning may enter.

Early Life and Education

Dakota Fanning was born in Conyers, Georgia on the 23rd February 1994 to Elle and Robert. Dakota began acting at just five years old appearing in commercials and small TV roles.

In 1994, she auditioned for and was cast as Sam in I Am Sam – this was her major break through and soon she was the busiest child actress in Hollywood.
