At approximately 2:00 am on November 21, 1996, Plumlee and Williams noticed Stanley Gonzalez walking home with groceries from a local store when he approached them in his Honda. When he got closer, they pulled up in their Honda, approached him, demanded money and wallet from him before stabbing him with a knife in his chest.
After Williams and Plumlee had been arrested, they were taken to the police station for interviews. Detective Hoffbeck decided to seize their clothing as evidence related to Gonzalez robbery as well as any other crimes they were accused of committing.
Professional Career
Plumlee currently plays for Charlotte Hornets of the National Basketball Association (NBA), having previously represented Brooklyn Nets and Milwaukee Bucks. In 2014 FIBA World Cup competition he earned gold for team USA.
As a senior at Warsaw Community High School in Kentucky, he earned McDonald’s All-American honors and led his team to a state title. Later enrolled at Duke Blue Devils for college basketball play where they won another national title together.
Plumlee, who has worked for L & B Realty Advisors, LLP in Dallas for more than a year, holds registration as an Investment Advisory Representative with Texas regulators and oversees $3 Million across one account.
Achievement and Honors
In 2021, Staff Sergeant Earl D. Plumlee was honored with the Medal of Honor for his service in Afghanistan. This recognition stems from an instance when enemy forces attacked Forward Operating Base Ghazni in Ghazni Province on August 28, 2013 as part of Operation Enduring Freedom; on this date he responded immediately by entering his vehicle without cover and charging against enemies; engaging multiple insurgents using his pistol as they advanced upon him.

Dan Plumlee is married to Susan and has three children. He currently resides in Dallas, Texas. Dan earned both a BBA in Accounting from the University of Texas and JD from Southern Methodist University as well as his real estate license in Texas. At L&B Realty Advisors LLP he serves on both its management committee and investment committees and has a longstanding reputation of being an astute businessperson and corporate citizen.
