David Bavar, 86, Died of Pancreatic Cancer

On September 28, David Ian Bavar, 86, co-founder of commercial real estate services company KLNB (Kayne Levin, Neilson and Bavar), passed away from pancreatic cancer. A Guilford resident for many years, he also collected classic vintage automobiles.

Graduate of Penn State University, he earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and an master’s in business administration from the Wharton School. He was active within community organizations such as Goucher College and Temple Oheb Shalom in Baltimore, Catholic Charities of Baltimore and Associated Jewish Charities in Florida.

Early Life and Education

David Ian Bauer was born and raised in Jamestown, New York and attended high school there before attending Penn State University and then the Wharton School of Business.

He then relocated to Nashville and worked as a real estate agent, mortgage originator and attorney. Additionally, he is an accomplished TV host and brand ambassador.

David was the son of a successful entrepreneur and an enthusiastic housewife, enjoying activities like horseback riding, fishing and camping with his parents. Additionally, David pursued his interests in history and education with enthusiasm.

He became an art collector and an enthusiastic supporter of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). His mother Margaret Scolari Barr, affectionately known as Marga, also collected modern artwork.

Professional Career

After graduating from Penn State University, David Bavar joined the accounting firm of Burke, Landsberg and Gerber before joining Manakin LLC. Working alongside Allen Kayne, Bob Levin and Bob Neilson, he helped shape and direct their office and industrial division for the company.

He later left Manekin to join KLNB, where he spent 22 years. Throughout his career, he was known for his dedication to quality service and helped formulate the core principles that remain at the heart of their success.

On September 28, 2016, Robert (Anne) Axel passed away from pancreatic cancer after 53 years with his beloved Betty-Jean Axel. Survived by son Robert of Owings Mills; daughter Adrienne in San Francisco; and an abundance of grandchildren, Robert leaves behind his loving wife of 53 years, Betty-Jean Axel.

Survived by his beloved wife Betty-Jean Bavar of 53 years; children Robert (Anne) and Adrienne Bavar; beloved grandchildren Benjamin and Amanda; parents Gus and Sylvia Bavar; as well as many dear friends; David was proud owner of a forest green 1933 Rolls Royce. Prior to moving to Longboat Key Florida last month, David lived in Baltimore, Pikesville and Timonium before moving to Longboat Key Florida.

David Bavar has been an entrepreneur in the commercial real estate industry for over two decades. As founder of Bavar Properties Group, a commercial real estate firm located in Guilford, Connecticut, his expertise and experience span across many areas.

He is renowned for his role as a stuntman in numerous movies. Through this career, he has achieved great success and success.

David has managed to keep his personal life private despite his success. He has never revealed whether or not he has a family.

He and his wife, Ilana Glazer, currently reside in Brooklyn, New York. He supports his wife’s acting and stand-up comedy career with great enthusiasm; he truly adores his spouse.
