David is a Golf Mental Coach, Author of “The Ultimate Mental Game Training System for Golf”, and founder of Golf State of Mind. He provides services to golfers of all levels.
His professional golf career in New Jersey was remarkable, culminating in victories at 4 New Jersey State Opens, Nissan Classic and 2 Dodge Opens. Additionally, he won numerous New Jersey PGA Match Play Championships throughout its course.
Early Life and Education
David was raised in a golfing family, so his love for the game was instilled early. On weekends he would travel to Pinehurst with his grandfather, father, and uncle – all of whom played an influential role in developing his passion for the game.
He ultimately chose to attend college, studying Horticulture and Landscape Design at Writtle College on the fringes of London. Following that, he interned with Southern Golf Construction – Europe’s largest golf course construction company – in order to gain practical experience.
He gained invaluable insight into the golf course development process through working with market analysts, master planners, architects, engineers and ecological consultants. This allowed him to formulate his design principles and ideas for the game of golf which have now become world renowned as a golf instructor and author. Furthermore, he produces instructional videos, DVDs and training aids.
A career is the culmination of decisions one makes throughout life that shape their direction, commitment to work and desire for growth and development. It represents all of these attributes in an individual.

After his success as a college player and 2nd team All American, David Golf decided to focus on teaching and coaching. He began giving over 1000 lessons a year and helped shape many young players who went on to have great success on the golf course.
