David Karacius
David Karacius – A Celebration of Life
On March 22nd, David Karacius passed away peacefully at home with family by his side. He was an acclaimed drummer and had performed in several bands throughout Sutton High School’s history, including “The Untouched.”
He often joined his wife Delia in church services and enjoyed discussing religion. Survived by his loving wife and their extended family, he is predeceased by his sister Joan Smith.
Achievement and Honors
David was actively engaged in both his faith and online community. A member of Messiah Christian Church in Wells Maine, David was an enthusiastic follower and leader within The Christian Family Online Forum (CFOF), where he enjoyed learning about and sharing his beliefs with others. He dedicated himself to improving the lives of many. As a result, he was honored with several awards, including the Sons of the American Legion Dudley-Gendron Post 414 Award. He was a loving husband and father who will be dearly missed by his wife Delia and children Tracey Converse of Whitinsville MA (her three boys Zeb, Dakota, and Isaac), David Karacius from Honolulu HI (his daughters Mina and Mikayla), Reagan Burrows from Wells ME with husband Tim Burrows (Reyna Noah Carly Liam). A Celebration of Life will take place on April 1st at 1:30 p.m. at First Congregational Church of Sutton (307 Boston Road) in Sutton.
Personal Life
David enjoyed life and especially loved being a part of Messiah Christian Church in Wells Maine where he came to faith in his mid-20s. An active participant both online and face-to-face, David loved learning from others about their beliefs. A wonderful father, husband and son; survived by wife Delia; daughters Tracey Converse of Whitinsville MA; Reagan Burrows of Wells ME; grandchildren Zeb, Dakota and Isaac; predeceased by sister Joan Smith. A celebration of David’s life will take place Friday April 1st at 1:30pm at First Congregational Church of Sutton.
