McDonald’s and Disney Team Up For 50th Anniversary Toys

Mickey Mouse is back with a brand new line of toys celebrating 50 years. These toys include a gold-spot and a Pirates of the Caribbean version. The brand will donate a penny from every Happy Meal purchase towards Ronald McDonald House Charities as part of the celebration.

McDonald’s and Disney have teamed up to create limited-edition Disney toys that children can purchase during their visit to Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebration. These toys are based upon classic Disney characters and popular Disney attractions.

The Disney 50th anniversary toys will be available in participating McDonald’s restaurants nationwide. These toys come in a variety designs and will make a great addition to your child’s Happy Meal. In addition to the toys, you can also enter to win a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort!

Disney has teamed up with McDonald’s before. For Disney’s 50th Anniversary, 50 toys were released by the company. Two of them were later replaced. One of the toys was a Stitch doll inspired by the movie Lilo & Stitch. Another was a set of McDonald’s ride vehicles.

The happy meal toys were originally meant to celebrate the opening of Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The toys were removed from shelves by the chain after a week. The company promised to return them soon, but without the game pieces. However, the Tower of Terror and Pirates of the Caribbean versions of the toys are no longer available.

The Disney 50th anniversary toy line will feature classics from the franchise. There will also be new additions from the line that will be available in limited quantities. The set includes the iconic Mickey and Minnie riding the runaway railway. The toys also include an exclusive happy meal prize draw for fans. Fans can enter by adding a Happy Meal to any mobile order before May 22, 2022.

This collaboration will help families create memorable memories together. The partnership is also giving away a Disney World vacation for the family. Customers who order a Happy Meal through the McDonald’s App or Mobile Order and Pay will be automatically entered into a drawing for the family vacation.
