Fatal Car Accident on New Jersey Turnpike Today

A double-decker bus and a Ford F-150 pickup truck were involved in an accident on the New Jersey Turnpike, Woodbridge, New Jersey. The accident occurred shortly after 6:53 pm. The bus was travelling southbound when it collided into the truck. The driver lost control of his bus and crashed into the truck which was moving in the middle lane.

The New Jersey State Police and a medical helicopter were both dispatched to the scene. A witness provided photos to FOX 5 New York’s Linda Schmidt that showed the rapid response to the accident and the helicopter taking off from the turnpike. All the victims were taken to RWJ University Hospital, New Brunswick.
