George Buss is a renowned Abraham Lincoln impersonator who has been touring the US for more than three decades. A former high school teacher, Buss is well known for his portrayal of the 16th president at public schools, state fairs and historical societies across America.
On Friday morning, after six months of investigation, he was arrested at his home. Additionally, 22-year-old Tyler Dotson from Leaf River was charged in the case.
Early Life and Education
George Buss was born in Appleton, Wisconsin and attended Appleton High School before earning a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Texas at Austin.
He went on to earn his doctorate in psychology from the University of California at Berkeley. During graduate school, he developed an interest in evolutionary theory.
