George was born in Peabody, Massachusetts to Konstantinos and Irene Giannias. As one of several children in a household that was active in Greek Orthodox Churches, George spent much of his early career working as a distributor for Pepsi-Cola while also embarking on small real estate endeavors. A graduate of Deree College in Athens, Greece, he has been practicing as an compounding pharmacist since 1985 and has been an influential voice for prescribing rights and patient access to personalized medicines.
