Bigham put in extra time working on his breaststroke front-end speed prior to Chatham’s state final matchup with Tenafly and it paid dividends by winning both events and swimming a leg on their 200 freestyle relay team. His victory secured him spots in next year’s British Amateur Championship, U.S Junior Amateur Championship, and final qualifying for Open at St Andrews – as well as earning him an invitation.
