Early Life and Education

Early childhood education is a foundational aspect of any child’s development. It emphasizes key milestones and skills such as social-emotional growth, numeracy skills, and literacy development.

Children learn a great deal from their parents and primary caregivers, but they require active stimulation and interaction with others in order to reach their full potential. This is where teachers come in; they provide the perfect platform for growth.

Over the years, early childhood education has grown in significance as science has demonstrated a direct link between a child’s birth experiences and their future learning capacity, behaviors, physical health, and mental wellbeing. These connections provide policymakers and civic leaders with a framework to tackle pressing issues facing kids and their communities.

Bartoldus has extensive experience in construction, currently serving as Director of Alternative Delivery for Superior Construction Company Southeast in Jacksonville FL. A licensed engineer, he has managed some of Florida’s largest heavy civil projects. Additionally, he serves on the board of directors of American Society of Engineering Managers – an organization that promotes best practices within the industry – promoting best practices throughout its membership base.
