John Martucci is an experienced administrator who has been part of the Carminucci Wealth Management team since 2009. With over 35 years of tax accounting expertise under his belt, John brings a wealth of expertise to his role.

He spent 14 years as a senior tax associate for Fortune Brands, Inc; 8 years as tax manager for Viacom; 9 years at WPP Group–one of the world’s largest advertising firms–and nine months as an auditor for Massachusetts Department of Revenue.

Early Life and Education

John was a life-long learner. He enjoyed reading widely and watching college lectures on television or online. John and his wife Gail stressed the value of education in their marriage, encouraging their daughters to pursue degrees.

He was a certified registered nurse anesthetist who served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, saving many lives along the way. After his service career ended, he retired to Fort Smith, Arkansas, where he became an integral part of the community while spending time with family and friends.

He was a devoted father, grandfather and brother who will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 40 years, Julia; daughter Gail (Lawrence “Wally”) Walraed and son John Martucci; sister Rosemarie Smith and her husband Robert; step granddaughter Maria Clemorich and step grandson Carl Anthony; as well as numerous nephews and nieces.

Professional Career

John Martucci served as Tax Manager for Viacom for 7 years, managing their tax compliance and filing needs. Additionally, he analyzed business trends and operations to anticipate immediate and long-term tax objectives – leading to significant savings. With more than 35 years of accounting expertise, John is adept at assessing business opportunities and how it will affect a company’s taxes.

Martucci has built and nurtured strong relationships with clients, consistently exceeding their expectations. In his current role at Medlogix, he is responsible for improving service and growing the North America sales team. His past experiences include building a national sales force and overseeing various product offerings such as enterprise search, email management and knowledge management. Martucci currently resides in Southern California with his family.

Achievements and Honors

John Martucci has earned numerous awards and honors for his academic accomplishments, as well as the support of family and friends during his cancer journey.

He has also been actively engaged in charity work, contributing to organizations such as Global Medical Relief Fund. Additionally, he visited their house and spent time with the children there.

He is married to Sheri Martucci and has three beautiful children: Colleen, Evan and Nick – all in their third year of college! Together with Sheri they do their best to support their household while John receives his care.

Personal Life

John Martucci has an amazing family and circle of friends that are supporting him through his cancer battle. He and Sheri have been married for 25 years, with 3 amazing kids – Colleen, Evan, and Nicholas – all in their third year at college.

They are trying to maintain as much normalcy in their lives while he receives treatment, in order to focus on his health. He has many friends and family supporting him throughout this journey who are truly dedicated to him.

He was a classically trained oboist who played in the Charleroi H.S. Marching Band, Pitt Marching Band and U.S. Army 9th Infantry Divisional Band and MARS Band as well as the Laurel Mountain Winds woodwind quintet. Most importantly, he was an adoring husband, father and grandfather.
