Noah Plack approaches every football field with one objective in mind: to “see ball, get ball.” As part of first-year coach Ryan Carty’s defense that has flourished under him this season, Plack will once more be counted upon when Delaware faces top seeded South Dakota State on Saturday in an FCS playoff game.

Early Life and Education

Noah Plack is an exceptional defensive back who has played for the University of Connecticut. This 6-foot-2, 215-pound senior joined through the transfer portal after spending 2021 season at Delaware and helping lead them to FCS playoff berth against No.1 seed South Dakota State – as seen Saturday when Hens face Jackrabbits at 3 p.m. EST (ESPN+). At South Fayette High School in McDonald, Pennsylvania where Plack and fellow UConn transfer commit Ray Eldridge attended together!

Plack leads his Blue Hens in total tackles and passes deflections while also holding records for total tackles made, passes deflected, forced fumble recovery, sack, forced fumble recovery as well as having recovered fumbles himself. On Saturday in Round 16 FCS playoffs play against No. 1-seeded South Dakota State with their defense ranking being 23rd nationally overall with its total defense being led by Plack himself!

South Fayette High in McDonald, Pennsylvania was home to an outstanding tight end and linebacker; as a result of this talent he received scholarship offers from UConn and Army before choosing Delaware as his destination.
