Oliver hadeen was a student at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. An excellent player on their soccer team, Oliver’s calming presence inspired all those he knew. A true friend to many, Oliver was also quite humorous – truly embodying what it means to be an amazing human being in every way.
Early Life and Education
Oliver was an outstanding athlete on Stanford’s track and field team, where he helped the distance squad achieve heights not seen for more than a decade. Oliver earned two West Regional titles in men’s cross country while also becoming an NCAA runner-up in this event.
Oliver excelled at coaching high school football, beginning his coaching career at Daviess County High School before moving on to coach Dynasty Sports Performance 7on7 teams and developing his own quarterback training program. Oliver served as Offensive Coordinator of Owensboro Wildcatters of NFL’s Fan Controlled Football League; they achieved significant success, even making an appearance in 2022 playoffs! In addition, Oliver trained quarterbacks and wide receivers at Owensboro-based Dynasty Sports Performance.
Professional Career
Oliver Hadeen was an outstanding defensive back at Academy of Art University. He stood out on defense, competing for cornerback duties with Mike Jenkins, Tracy Porter and Joselio Hanson for starting cornerback positions. Hadeen earned a roster spot during his freshman season and saw action in 8 games accumulating 258 minutes.
Oliver Hadeen was an incredible human who touched many lives throughout his short lifetime. Always kind and calming in manner, Oliver touched many hearts while leaving lasting impressions in their memories. Oliver will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him and predeceased by Edward and Helen Hadeen, Wally and Linda Hadeen as well as his beloved dog Gracie.
Achievement and Honors
Oliver had an immensely calming presence and was an exceptionally kind individual, possessing an amazing sense of humor which brought so much happiness into so many lives. He will be missed dearly by everyone who knew him.
He amassed six victories, seven podium finishes and four pole positions during his career, along with winning the McLaren Autosport Young Driver of the Year award from Formula 1 legend Sir Stirling Moss.
During 2018, he featured in 18 matches and started eight for Academy of Art University, scoring seven points, second highest on his team, including scoring the game-winning golden goal against Cal State Monterey Bay in September.

Oliver Edward Hadeen, a student at University of North Carolina Wilmington, died over the weekend without an official cause being established for his passing. This news came as an unexpected shock to those who knew him well. He was remembered fondly as being a compassionate individual with a calming presence who touched many hearts of his acquaintances. Dennis and Janet Hadeen; his brother Tedric; sister-in-law Kelly; nieces Hazel and Piper; goddaughters Emily, Haley, Gracie; grandparents Annette and Jerry; aunts Janice, Karen, Stephanie; cousin Ana; as well as the funeral masses at St Hedwig Catholic Church of Los Alamitos on Thursday May 18th at 5:30pm, Saturday 20th 5pm, and Sunday 28th at 8:00am will all pay their final respects to our son.
