Shaq At Jonas Brothers Premiere

Shaq at Jonas Brothers Premiere

The Jonas brothers may be the biggest name in pop music, but they are far from the only celebs making the news. NBA superstar Shaq attended the premiere of the Jonas brothers documentary, and showed up to the party with the most blinged out hoodie a guy could ask for. O’Neal was also on hand for the smallest possible congratulatory nod to a fellow NBA legend. However, he had to leave because of a technical glitch.

In addition to announcing the aforementioned aforementioned, NBC has tapped Nick Jonas to replace Shaquille O’Neal on the network’s upcoming Dancing with the Stars. While Nick is no stranger to the competition show scene, having starred in two seasons of The Voice, the upcoming series will mark his first time as a judge on the dance floor. He will be joined by celebrity dancer Liza Koshy.

On the other hand, Nick has also been named a “dance creator” on the series. His involvement in the competition show is only the latest in a string of engagements with the network, which began when he served as a coach on the hit show. Aside from his time as a coach, he has also lent his talents to other shows, including the aforementioned The Voice and Becoming a Popstar, and has been featured in the oddly named Joe Jonas vs. Priyanka Chopra.

Other notable tidbits include the release of a video game featuring Nick and his brothers, and a documentary about the two brothers that aired last year. In all, there is a lot to love about the Jonas brothers, but the show has been plagued with a number of hiccups. According to Deadline, some of the show’s sets have been pushed back due to some technical difficulties, which may mean the show will not debut until the end of the year. Regardless, the good news is that the show is expected to begin filming soon. And even better, Nick may actually get a chance to work with some of his idols in the studio.

Of course, if he is able to make it back to the show, his talents are sure to be put to the test. It is unclear whether Nick will have to compete against Ariana Grande, or whether he will be left to fend for himself. Whatever the case, it appears that he is one talented dude. Whether he is able to take home the crown as the next basketball champ, or simply a household name, the Jonas brothers are set to dominate the pop world for the foreseeable future. So, for the fans that still believe in the old adage, don’t forget to tune in to NBC, because the future is looking up.
