Strawn was raised by his mother on a budget so tight that many nights he went to sleep hungry only to be awakened by her feeding him leftovers from the bar she worked at; an experience which has given him an invaluable moral compass.
Outside his law practice, Mr. Jones frequently speaks on trial strategy and white-collar crime matters to lawyers and corporate audiences alike. Most recently, he assisted a financial firm with investigating and prosecuting two employees for theft of trade secrets – this case received widespread media coverage.
He has published extensively on integrative topics between theology and psychology, such as “Rethinking Religion and Cognitive Science” (Cambridge 2020) and “Enhancing Christian Life: How Extended Cognition Augments Religious Community” (IVP 2022). Furthermore, he contributes regularly to Christian Psychoanalysis and Pastoral Psychology journals.
Strawn has extensive business experience and is the author of two highly praised golf books. Both he and Wanda are animal enthusiasts and enjoy entertaining guests with Jeopardy games, entertaining friends for parties, and raising a son from previous relationships.
