Kobrine recorded 224 kills and 131 total blocks while helping the Sea Kings win the CIF Southern California Regional Division II championship. He earned All-Pacific Coast League first team honors as well as All-Orange County honorable mention recognition, while making USA Volleyball’s youth national training team.

He’ll join Hunter – who played an instrumental role in leading the Sea Kings to 30 wins under Conti – and McHenry for another season, giving the Sea Kings an unbeatable front row trio.

Personal Life

Kobrine’s family epitomizes his passion for sports: brothers Sam and Kevin both played college basketball; Sam coaches high school runners while leading running vacations (he once ran 100 miles in a day on Grand Canyon’s North Rim); while his father Ron completed 30 consecutive Boston Marathons!
