The Masked Singer Who Won’t Go Home Tonight

The Masked Singer is a reality show where celebrities are disguised as elaborate characters. Each week, three or four celebrity contestants compete for their lives in a singing competition. At the end of each round, one celebrity is eliminated. It’s generally only in the finale that the final two competitors go head-to-head. This year, “The Masked Singer” was a bit different. One of the contestants was eliminated during the first round and another was eliminated in the battle royale. That’s how this season ended.

“The Masked Singer” airs on Fox and ABC. Each week, the singers perform a number of songs and are evaluated on their singing and voice. They are judged by an audience and panel of experts. If their performances are impressive enough, they advance to the next round. However, it’s not uncommon for a singer to be eliminated in the first round.

The Masked Singer re-launched with an eighth season. In addition to revamped rules and new contestants, the show also introduced two themed episodes. These included a Blue Man Group episode and a Halloween themed episode. Season 8 contestants also earned 32 Grammy nominations and 10 Teen Choice Awards.

The first episode of the season included celebrity guest judges Joel McHale, Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, and Robin Thicke. The judges made a number of interesting guesses. But a lot of the nifty tricks were a waste of time.

In the second episode, the “Masked Singer” introduced a new format. Each contestant was required to perform a song that had a special meaning. Some of the most memorable were the song by The Muppets, “The Ballad of Mongoose,” and the song by Florida Georgia Line, “Get Your Shine On.”

The third episode featured a “Fright Night” theme. The winner of the group B battle was revealed. During the battle, “The Masked Singer” gave the audience and the panel a glimpse of the mystery singers’ identities.

Another new feature of this season was that the “Masked Singer” will now live blog their performances. Fans can watch the live blogs and take in a sneak peak of who is on the brink of elimination. For example, in the second episode, the audience got a glimpse of a very elaborate costume.

A “Masked Singer” semi-finals will air on Thanksgiving. Two of the contestants will be eliminated. The contestants will then compete for the “Golden Mask Trophy” in the season 6 finale. As in previous seasons, there will be a Battle Royale. One act will be eliminated, but the other two will be competing for the title of “Queen of the Masked Singer.”

As the season finale draws closer, it’s time to find out who wins. After all, one of the competitors will be eliminated on Thanksgiving night. Fortunately, there will be two finalists, which means the audience gets a chance to vote for their favorite.

Luckily, the “Masked Singer” is back for a new season, and it’s looking like it’s going to be an exciting ride.
